This upgrade instruction applies to users who have installed ZenTao open source and want to upgrade it to ZenTao Pro. You have to get the upgrade package from our team. Do NOT use the one-click installaion package to upgrade ZenTao. Contact Troy@easycorp.ltd to get the upgrade package.

1. Ioncube Loader

If you are use the one-click installation package for a fresh installation, you can skip this step. One-click installation package has IonCube built in.

If you are use the uniserver or other PHP runtime environment, you can refer to   //www.zentao.pm/book/zentaoprohelp/135.html to install the loader.

2. Back up

Back up your data in ZenTao in case it is lost after upgrading. Refer to Back Up ZenTao in ZenTao open source manual.

3. Get the package to upgrade ZenTao

We have the upgrade package for you to upgrade ZenTao from open source version to the Pro version.  Do NOT use the one-click installaion package to upgrade ZenTao. Contact Troy@easycorp.ltd to get the upgrade package.

Go to Admin->Extesnion->Local Installation. 

You will be asked to confirm your administrator role. Follow the instruction and it will be done.

Choose the upgrade zip file you got from ZenTao team and click Install Extension.
